Being a big fan of March Madness, I always tune into the three weekends of the NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship. But something tells me last night’s Duke-Butler game might be one of the highest rated ever. I have absolutely nothing upon which to base that opinion other than the hype and buzz around the Internet.
The men’s basketball championship routinely is one of the best games played and pulls big ratings. Duke’s two-point win over Butler may have been the most intriguing game we’ve had since Bird vs. Magic in 1979.
It was, without question, one of the best championships in any sport I can recall. Twenty years from now more people will talk about Butler than Duke.
