Last week, I kvetched ad nauseum about bad writing. It’s a plague and a scourge and makes life difficult for those of us who are good writers. How so? Because too many employers, businesses and other entities downplay the importance of professional writers. In their minds, anyone can write. In their minds, 250 words of copy on a website is quality, in itself. In their minds, anyone can be a writer by virtue of knowing how to use a computer and write an email message.
But I’m happy to report the folks who run the IUPUI Jaguars website don’t take it for granted. In fact, they’ve got interns who are writing circles around paid writers at other websites. Here. See for yourself.
